If you are looking for wire mesh, you’ll need to decide what type of metal you want to use, the weave of the mesh, and the size of the mesh. In this particular instance, size really does matter. The size of the openings in the weave will dramatically affect how the mesh can be used.
For example, if you are looking for a wire mesh that will effectively filter fine particulates out of water, then you’ll need a mesh expertly calibrated with openings big enough to allow water through, but small enough to catch larger particulates. If, on the other hand, you want to create fencing to keep out critters and possibly humans too, then you won’t need our smallest weaves.
